Requirements: Takigakure and Konohagakure Members only, Must have Raido(Takigakure) last name or Raidon(Konohagakure) last name.
Clan Kekkei Genkai: The clan Kekkei Genkai is the Raidogan (Lightning Eye), which can also be the Arashigan (Storm Eye). First, the Raidogan is activated once the user develops his/her first jutsu for lightning. This can be anything from a mere lightning transfer jutsu to a using one of the famous clan Jutsus. The clan has many techniques and their Kekkei Genkai is very special and unique from other Lightning and Storm eyes, besides appearance. The main Raidogan and Arashigan bare similarities in appearance but are complete different. However all the forms of the Raido/Arashigan have one similar ability, the ability to lower chakra consumption on Lightning/Raiton Jutsus. The Arashigan is activated for the first time when the user either performs a Water Style or Suiton affinity jutsu or goes through the Tortured Ceremony. The Raidogan is always shown in replacement of the eyes, and the Arashigan lies beneath the Raidogan in which the user can switch which one is shown, however most show both the Arashigan in the left eye and the Raidogan in the right eye.
Extra: The Raidogan and Arashigan of the Raidon Clan has one down side for it to be FULLY ACTIVATED the user must go through a ceremony that has been banned in most places, however the ceremony still takes place in the sewers of Takigakure, where the Clan elder places the user under the Storm Release: Thunderstorm Illusion Jutsu and creates a mass hysteria while inside a room in the sewer. The Arashigan will either full activate or become activated and cease the jutsu which will then unlock the fully activated Arashigan, or Storms Eye, and then the Raidogan takes the Lightning from the Storm Release: that was used and sends it back to the elder; this is how the elder knows that the one Shinobi has finished the ceremony. This ceremony is very dangerous and is said to cause permanent psychological damage occasionally as well as blind or kill the shinobi. These chances are about one in maybe thirty.
Beginning Raidogan:
The beginning Raidogan currently only has a few functions as a Kekkei Genkai. This doujutsu is only activated when the caster performs his very first lightning jutsu, whether it be clan, custom, or already created jutsu. This form of the doujutsu allows the user to use approximately twice as many lightning Jutsus as someone of the same strength, this is due to the fact that this Raidogan cuts chakra consumption in half, only for lightning Jutsus though. Along with this, it allows the user to see the weak points in basic Lightning Jutsus; however most over a low “B” ranked jutsu cannot be read.
The Mastered Raidogan:
The mastered Raidogan is said to be activated when a user goes through the tortured ceremony. No one currently knows how the Mastered or Fully Activated Raidogan can be achieved without that ceremony, clan members in Konohagakure rarely speak about this ceremony because the eye is easy to spot out and this will show the Raidon Clan members that have been through the ceremony. This Raidogan has the ability to see through most Lightning Jutsus up to the rank and strength of the Lightning Jutsus that the caster of the doujutsu can use. When this Raidogan is achieved the user can use the clans Lightning Style: Lightning Dome Lightning Surge Jutsu at the stake of most of their chakra and in most cases their life. This master Raidogan also allows the user to use to take the Lightning affinity out of the Storm Release as a substitute for Suiton, this ability can not be manipulated to absorb other Lightning Jutsus however, some have been able to transfer their Lightning chakra into other things such as inanimate objects.
The Arashigan:
The Arashigan is the storms eye, this has been said to activate when the user performs their first Suiton or Water Style technique or going through the ceremony. When going through the ceremony the Arashigan is automatically fully activated and the Arashigan is a sub doujutsu that lies beneath the always shown Raidogan. The Arashigan allows the user to utilize the Storm Release and the Storm jutsus that the clan practices. Most Arashigan wielders do not use their Arashigan till full activation because the basic Arashigan utilizes no function.
The Mastered Arashigan:
The mastered Arashigan is known to only be achieved through the tortured ceremony because the Arashigan can see through the clans Hiden Genjutsu and it allows the user to come out of the illusion. The Arashigan, or storms eye, allows the user to fully utilize the Storm Release allowing the user to tap into the power of a natural storm, however this technique has been labeled as Forbidden and deadly as it is very random and is hard to control. The mastered Arashigan has a single advantage over the basic Arashigan and that is the ability to use the Mastered Raidogan to take the Lightning out of the Storm Release, however the Raidogan can only take it out of the Storm Release when using the Mastered Raidogan and Mastered Arashigan.

Description: This “B” rank jutsu is the foundation of what most clan members use to activate their Raidogan. This jutsu changes lightning chakra to electrical current and takes the form of a dragon and is “thrown” at the opponent, this clan jutsu is very easy to manipulate and develop however the difference between the “A” and “B” rank is a matter of strength.

Description: This “C” rank jutsu takes little lightning chakra, and with use with the Raidogan almost none, and changes its nature to Light. This allows the user to see in dark crevasse or caves.

Description: This “A” rank jutsu takes the basic lightning chakra and uses a change in chakra nature to change it into Lightning Bolt formation, this jutsu is a tricky one to learn but it serves a great role. The Lightning Bolts are probably about 1/1000th the strength of an actual lightning bolt but they are still pretty strong. This jutsu is probably the most chakra consuming of the clan’s lightning style jutsus even with the Raidogan.

Description: Another chakra consuming clan jutsu this jutsu “A” rank, allows the user to create multiple “Lightning Style: Strike From Above” jutsus and barrage the opponent with bolts. However this jutsu can sometimes wear out the Raidogan if too much chakra is used and the Lightning does not have enough strength, the jutsu will fail and the caster will pass out.

Description: Must be using the Raidogan, the “A” rank Lightning Style: Lightning Dome turns regular Lightning Chakra into an Electrical Field of positive charges, the positive charges in the field react with the negatively charged earth and create a very dangerous field if touched.

Description: This “S” rank technique turns the “A” rank Lightning Style: Lightning Dome jutsu into a fatal attack, however it is only 1% fatal when containing a lack of chakra, this attack is fatal to the caster as in most cases the caster does not have enough chakra to do this technique and tries to borrow chakra from the Raidogan by lowering the chakra consumption but the “Lightning Style: Lightning Dome” uses the Raidogan so the chakra consumption cannot be halved again. This jutsu is used as a last resort for many clan members.

Description: When the Arashigan is activated the caster can perform this “A” rank Ninjutsu technique that gathers the water in the air to produce cloud like areas in the sky and create a thunderstorm, this jutsu is the foundation for most of the Storm Release techniques that the clan uses.

Description: This “A” rank Genjutsu technique can be used after the Thunderstorm Jutsu has been used. This jutsu allows the thunderstorm to rain and once the rain touches the other person they are caught in the Genjutsu, however, the caster must stay perfectly still and keep the chakra flow into the other being, the illusion produced makes the victim think he won the battle, the caster then produces illusions such as his/her family dying, friendships being broken, and destroys the victims sanity.

Description: This jutsu causes the Thunderstorm to rain without putting an illusion on the victim however the victim is caught in a pool of water while the caster changes the lightning chakra in the thunderstorm to electrical current and sends it into the water.
Clan History:
The Raidon Clan originated about five hundred years ago, they were a very small clan at the time trying to develop a doujutsu to be like the Great Three Clans. This was harder then they though but they came up with a solution or an theory rather, they would strike lightning bolts in the others eyes and see if a doujutsu would activate, and after about four clan members died, they tried it again and it worked on a Jushin Raidon who founded the clan and the doujutsu. However this was very rare and the clan began killing off those who were not born with the doujutsu after it was developed. This was becoming very brutal before finally the clan was purified of what Jushin “Raidins,” some of those Raidins were persuaded to form another clan called the “Raidins” however the clan’s doujutsu turned out to go through extremely better then they thought and the clan developed the “Tortured Ceremony” which was used on the Raidin’s to stop from any warring with other clans.
The Raidon clan stayed away from most of any wars and was always traveling to the safe villages which in most cases was Takigakure no Sato were most of the clan remains today. However the Tortured Ceremony that they developed was feared as a way to steal other doujutsus or even awaken something more deadly then a Bijuu.
The Raidon clans have stopped moving around for now but are still alive at about five hundred members and thriving in Konohagakure no Sato and Takigakure no Sato where they make money by using Lightning Style techniques to cook fish to stimulate their economy. The shinobipart of the clan is very large and has done a great part in creating an economy for those clans.

Clan Traits: Members born into the Raido/Raidon clan typically have the primary affinity of Raiton or Lightning. This element is necessary as the clan’s bloodline trait cannot work without this element. The other clan traits are those that allow fast thought and speed. Speed is key in the Raidon Clan because most members of shinobihood need speed to utilize most of the Hiden Jutsus that clan uses. Clan members born into the Takigakure no Sato part of the clan have the last name: Raido, however clan’s members born into the Konohagakure no Sato part of the clan have the last name: Raidon. Some members are identified into this clan by their eyes because some members marry outside of the clan and take on other names. The clan members who do not get born with the Lightning affinity are somehow always given the Suiton/Water affinity and this allows the user to utilize the Storm Eye after learning the Lightning affinity.
Clan Population: Now it is between three and four hundred.
Only One person in there imediate family is allowed to do the Tortured Ceremony as well as get the Arashigan, approx. only 1 in 50 have the Arashigan
